MBC Kids

At MBC Kids our goal is to see kids loved, valued and in a relationship with Jesus. Children, from babies to 5th grade, will experience safe and age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative way. We strive to make every service the best hour of your child's week.

We Value:

Safety – Every child’s name tag is matched to a parent identification number upon pick up. Every volunteer has completed our Growth Track program as well as a federal background check.

Creative Bible Teachings - The Bible is the most amazing book ever written! We desire to bring Bible stories to life with activities, object lessons and skits that keep children engaged.

Building Relationships – We desire for every child and parent to feel welcomed and part of the Meadowbrook family.

Being Relatable - Our environments and curriculum are built in a way that your child will understand. We are passionate about kids going from where they are to where God wants them to be.

Having Fun - When children have fun at church, they can’t wait to come back! We value creating fun ways for children to learn about Jesus!

Kid-Friendly Environments

To offer the best experience for every child, we have split our ministry into three main environments:

  • The Garden

    Birth - Age 2

Just like seeds require special care to take root and grow into what God designed, so do our children. The Garden provides a warm environment with music, lots of hugs and love. Children learn three core values here: God made me, God loves me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

    The Treehouse

    Ages 3-5

Through playtime and hands-on activities, our preschoolers will explore God’s world and navigate the Bible. This environment builds off of these three core values: God made me, God loves me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

  • The Clubhouse &

    Clubhouse Jr.

    K5-5th Grade

Movement. Change. Growth. Impact. Influence. These are all a part of what God is teaching our kids in Clubhouse. It’s all about learning God’s Word and living it out. Clubhouse is where children come together to build lasting relationships with one another. They advance in their relationship with God through energetic worship and solid Bible teaching. The three core values that we learn in Clubhouse are: I need to make the wise choice, I can trust God no matter what, and I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Check-In & Security

To check in your child, you may go to our assisted or express (key tag required) check-in areas in our main hallway. You and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion. The parent dropping off/picking up will need to wear the matching tag. We ask the parents to wear the matching tag in a visible area so our security team can easily see the tag when entering a MBC Kids hallway.

At the end of the service, show your parent pick-up tag to the security personnel upon entrance into the MBC Kids hallway. You'll show it again to our MBC Kids Dream Team in your child’s classroom. Then your child will be released to you.

If you lose your parent tag, you will need to return to child check-in to obtain a reprint. A driver license is required for verification before any tag is reprinted.

In the event that we need to contact you during the service, your child’s first name and identification code will appear on the screen in the auditorium. We ask that you exit the auditorium immediately and go to the classroom that you checked your child into. Be prepared to show your parent tag to security upon entering an MBC Kids hall.

Your First Visit!

Look for our VIP areas located at both the North and South entrances. Our VIP team will meet your family, check your child into our database system, and one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.

We will ask for the following personal information: family members' names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child.
