“I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting;” 1 Timothy 2:8 (NKJV)
This passage was actually written to men. The original Greek is masculine in this case and is distinguished from women. More than likely, this is because men have historically relegated prayer to women. Let that never be said about the men of Meadowbrook!
For years, I've taught this truth: “The better the man, the better the ________.”
The better the man, the better the church…the marriage…the family…the business…fill in the blank! When we embrace our high calling to pursue God, everything around us becomes better.
