Pastor Tim's Bio
Tim Gilligan is the founder and Senior Pastor of Meadowbrook Church, established in 1989. Located in Ocala, Florida, and situated on 80 acres of pristine property, this faith-based organization's vision is to Honor God, Build Believers, and Touch Lives.
Tim is known for teaching and illustrating the uncompromised truth of God's promises, which are the keys to victory in every area of life, and has authored four books — Playing for Keeps, Your Word and Your Work, Seasons, and Transitions.
By using practical methods to communicate the Good News, Meadowbrook Church continues to grow with a current weekly attendance of nearly 4,000 members. This growth can be contributed to the sound, biblical teaching Pastor Tim gives with great clarity and conciseness.
The Life of Faith television broadcast was launched on December 6, 1998, and airs on Sundays at 11 a.m. on WCJB-TV 20 and Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. on WACX-TV 55. Live broadcasts and archives of Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services are accessible via the internet at www.mbcocala.com.
Tim serves as the Regional Director for AFCM (Association of Faith Churches and Ministers) and hosts regional meetings throughout the year.
Tim and his wife Alicia have five children and reside in Ocala.
Alicia's Bio
Alicia Gilligan, along with her husband, Tim Gilligan, is the co-founder of Meadowbrook Church, established in 1989, in Ocala, Florida, and the proud mother of five children.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, and raised in Tampa, Alicia was active in church from a very young age. She sang in the church choir and at church events throughout her high school years. The love of music was a shared interest that brought her and Tim together, as they served as ministers of youth and music.
Alicia also enjoys photography and writing, and with such a large family, she has plenty of “subjects” to focus upon. Alicia serves in the ministry, assisting with staff development and also as Student Life Advisor at Meadowbrook Academy. Her specific passion is to see women of all ages freed from insecurity and shame, fully embracing the potential that God destined for them. It is this passion that inspired her to establish the Heart of a Woman Ministries, which held its first meeting in 2003.
A “fruitful” day for Alicia includes time with God on her front porch, time with her big family, and time spent with her friends of Meadowbrook Church.
