We know you may have some questions about 12 Conference this year…here are your answers!

Where can I sign up my student?

You can sign up your student at Guest Services at Meadowbrook Church or sign up online at mbcocala.com/12


What does the cost of 12 Conference cover?

The cost covers the 12 Conference admission ticket, transportation, food, a day at Adventure Island water park in Tampa, FL, and hotel stay!


What time do I need to drop-off/ pick-up my student?

We are asking parents and students to be here at 11:00am on Monday, June 11th for registration. We will have lunch on campus and then head down to Bradenton, FL.


We’ll be back to the church at 9:00pm on Wednesday, June 13th. Students will be asked to send a message to their parents when we are one hour away from arriving back to Meadowbrook.


Where do I drop-off / pick-up my student?

Bring your student to the back of Meadowbrook Church! Remember to bring your liability release form with you on June 11th.


The liability release form is a part of registration if you sign up online, or we will give you one if you sign up in person at Guest Services.

What are the transportation arrangements to 12 Conference?

We will be taking buses down to 12 Conference with professional drivers.


Can my incoming 6th grader (5th grade 2017-18 school year) come to 12 Conference?

Not this year, but we are excited to come with us next year! We would like students to have a least a year in middle school before they go to 12 Conference.

Room arrangements

We appreciate rooming requests and try to facilitate as many as possible. Any Rooming request should be sent to sabel@mbcocala.org. No Co-ed rooms.


Are there scholarships available for my student?

Scholarships are given on a case-by-case basis, so please email Sam Abel at sabel@mbcocala.org and he will send you an application. Be as thorough as possible in filling out the application. In the meantime, explore all options necessary to ensure a spot at this year’s 12 Conference. We will contact you upon approval of your application.


What's the deal with meals?

Students will need to bring enough money for 1 meal (Lunch on Wednesday). A continental breakfast is offered at the hotel and the 12 Conference will be facilitating the rest of our meals. We suggest your student bring about $12-$15 for lunch at Adventure Island.


Can my student bring a cell phone?

Yes, your student is allowed to bring their cell phone to the 12 Conference. We ask that they would use it respectfully.


Is there anything special my student should bring?

Yes! 

  • A Bible or smart device with the Bible app. 
  • Something to take notes, there will be a ton of awesome stuff said! 
  • There will be some 12 Conference apparel and souvenirs! If your student would like to purchase a t-shirt at the Conference, they’ll need to bring money for that.
  • Swimsuit: We are asking students to bring a modest swimsuit for the day at Adventure Island water park.
